Decision Support Center Overview
The Lincoln Beaver Works Decision Support Center is a research and teaching center devoted to a variety of topics in situational awareness and decision making by humans and automation. Many of the interests of center participants are big data centric, but for a wide range of applications for which the emphasis varies among data volume, variety, velocity, veracity, human task variability, and technology value analysis. Specific areas of interest include resource optimization, analysis of a variety of data types (visual analytics, graph, image/video, text, and heterogeneous data), visual analytics and human-computer interaction, speech analysis, space systems, serious games, software architectures, and autonomous systems and agents. The professionals at the Decision Support center are committed to a more effective data-oriented world to solve daunting national problems.
