The Beaver Works Humanitarian Initiative seeks to leverage MIT Campus and MIT Lincoln Laboratory system and technology expertise to relieve large-scale human suffering. We envision close collaborations involving teams of faculty, research staff and students from MIT and other universities. Efforts will include research collaborations, workshops, capstone projects, technology prototypes, training exercises, games and emergency deployments

Beaver Works Humanitarian Workshop

In February 2014, MIT Beaver Works hosted a workshop with 25 humanitarian assistance disaster relief professionals and technologists, to identify opportunities for collaboration and seek novel ways to make humanitarian assistance more efficient and effective at alleviating suffering.
