The Lincoln Beaver Works Transportation Center is dedicated to advancing research and education to improve the efficiency and safety of the nation’s transportation systems. Within the center, Lincoln Laboratory staff, MIT faculty, and staff, and students work together to develop and demonstrate new concepts for managing transportation that are more robust and cost-effective, and have a reduced impact on the environment. Work spans decision support system technology, algorithms and optimization, human-machine integration, systems analysis, development of new operational procedures, and field evaluations.
