Workshop Vision

Identify opportunities for collaboration among the workshop participants to make humanitarian assistance more efficient and effective at alleviating suffering

Workshop Objectives

• Develop a better understanding of the skills each of the respective organizations brings to humanitarian assistance including disaster relief
• Allow each organization to explain the work they are known for and work they are interested in doing
• Identify common goals and outline how the group can leverage their skills and collaborate on projects of mutual interest

Workshop Output Goals

Short Term
“No-funding-needed” goals (e.g., transfer of MIT LL LADAR data to HHI, etc.)

Medium Term
Creation of frameworks for joint project proposals at the five-minute “elevator pitch” level

Long Term
Identify a roadmap for significant impact that this community (with additional partners) can have on improving humanitarian assistance and disaster relief
